Policies and Guidelines
Rental Deposits
A 50% deposit is due within 7 days of phone reservation to secure
the reservation. The balance for the entire stay is due 14 days
prior to arrival date.
Cancellations / Refunds
If it is necessary for you to cancel your reservation, with a 30 day
notice we will refund the full deposits. Cancellation between 29-14
days of your arrival will result in a refund Less $50 processing
fee. Any cancellations within 14 days of arrival are subject to FULL
forfeiture of total rent, unless the cabin can be rented over the
same period at the same rate.
Please note, monies will not be refunded due to weather conditions.
Refundable Security Deposit
A separate refundable security deposit of $250.00 is required (this
can be made by VISA/MasterCard—please supply credit card number,
expiration date and name as it appears on card). The refundable
security deposit covers any wear and tear to the cabin above normal
use. Following your stay and inspection of the cabin, the security
deposit will be refunded to you within 14 days (less any charges for
damage in the unlikely event this occurs).
Rates
The quoted rate does not include applicable sales tax and cleaning
fee. There will be a one-time charge of $45.00 for cleaning after
guest departure. However, guests are asked to tidy-up and leave the
cabin in an orderly manner. Also, please wash and put away any
non-dishwasher safe dishes and run the dishwasher. Dirty linens
should be left in the bathroom hamper.
Payments
All checks should be made payable to Toni Maisonhaute. Please send

Furnishings
The cabin comes fully furnished with: kitchen items including
microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker; bed linens, kitchen linens
and bath towels; iron and ironing board; satellite television; VCR;
monitor heating; wood-burning fireplace and firewood; washer/dryer; telephone
with local call service (guests must use credit or calling card for
long distance calls); 4 person outdoor hot tub.
Renters will need to supply trash bags, toilet paper and toiletry
items (soap, shampoo, etc.), paper towels, dishwashing liquid and
detergent and firestarters if desired.
This cabin is NON SMOKING. If you wish to smoke, please do so
outside on the porch and dispose of cigarettes in the provided sand
buckets.
Directions
Directions to the cabin will be sent upon receipt of full rental
payment and refundable security deposit. During winter months
it is advisable to have 4 wheel, front wheel, all wheel drive or
chains on your vehicle.
Length of Stay
A two-night minimum is required for all stays except holidays where
a four-night minimum is required. One-night stays may be accepted on a
space available basis.
Maximum Occupancy & Pets
The maximum number of persons in Hemlock Heaven is six (6). If the
number of guests should exceed this amount, guests will be asked to
vacate the cabin and will forfeit all monies paid.
No pets are allowed in or on the premises of the cabin. If pets are
brought to Hemlock Heaven, guests will be asked to vacate the cabin
and will forfeit all monies paid.
Check In and Out
Check-in time is between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Later or earlier
check-in must be prearranged.
Check-out is no later than 11:00 am. A later check-out may be
available upon request at time of arrival, depending on other
reservations.
